Andrea G. Hill, OD, FAAO, earned her Doctor of Optometry degree summa cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2011. She completed postgraduate optometry residency training in ocular disease and primary care optometry at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. Dr. Hill earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University in 2007.
From 2016 to 2024, Dr. Hill served as an Assistant Professor in the section of Ophthalmology at Emory Eye Center, where she specialized in comprehensive ocular care, ocular disease, emergency eye conditions, and cataract post-operative care. From 2024 to 2026, she worked in private optometry practices to expand her experience in optometry business operations and optical retail.
Her service experience includes a medical mission trip to Mexico in 2010 and free vision screenings with the Special Olympics, Remote Area Medical clinics, and the Hispanic Health Fair.
